Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is Physics a compulsory domain subject in the NCET exam?
No, Physics is an optional domain subject. It is generally required if you are applying for the B.Sc. B.Ed. integrated program and have a Science background in Class 12.
How many questions do I need to attempt in this section?
The Physics section provides 25 mandatory questions in the NCET ITEP exam, and candidates are required to attempt all of them based on the standard NTA pattern.
What is the marking scheme for the Physics domain?
You will receive +4 marks for every correct answer. However, be careful with your guesses, as 1 mark (-1) will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Unattempted questions yield 0 marks.
