The General Test is not universally compulsory for all courses, but it is highly recommended. Many top universities like Delhi University (for certain programs), BHU, JNU, and AU require the General Test score for admission into various undergraduate courses.
How many questions do I need to attempt in the General Test?
In the actual CUET exam, you will be given 60 questions in the General Test section. You are required to attempt exactly 50 questions of your choice within 60 minutes.
What is the marking scheme for the General Test?
You will receive +5 marks for every correct answer. However, be careful with your guesses, as 1 mark (-1) will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Unattempted questions yield 0 marks. Maximum possible score is 250 marks.
